Women’s Vintage Fringed Leather Jacket, Cowgirl Style
Finally one especially for the ladies, which makes this vintage fringed leather jacket all the more special (men’s fringed jackets seem to be the more common de facto find). Dating to around 1950 (by lining and label), possibly earlier, heavy vintage fringed leather jacket is fully lined and has lost none – NONE – of its fringe. Lining has some areas of fade, some shred at nape of neck, but completely wearable. Leather has some stiffening and needs you to break it in. Leather surface has the unmistakable marks of authenticity – surface wear and aging that can’t be faked. We’ve completed one round of reconditioning with our favorite leather product, and it’s ready for it’s second round. We let the first application cure for one year. That’s right: one year. We hope this very special jacket sticks around for a another 60 or 70 years.
